On May 25, 2026, volunteer scholarship monks from the Foundation for Education and Buddhist Propagation in the Greater Mekong Subregion traveled together to help restore and renovate an old water filtration tank that had not been used for more than three years, so it could be used again. The activity took place at Wat Ping Mueang, Pa Hung Subdistrict, Phan District, Chiang Mai Province. The activity was led by Phra Khru Prawit Waranuyut (Sane Inphong), Assistant Professor Dr., who guided the volunteer monks in restoring the old water filtration system. The filtration tank had been abandoned and left unused for over four years, so the team had to thoroughly clean dirt and stains, replace old filtering materials, and completely reorganize the filtration process to ensure the cleanest possible water treatment. The restoration process took two days to complete. |
